Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers subscriptions to AstroLedger, operated by Astroc As Technology Private Limited. It is written to be read, not to be hidden behind.

Try before you pay

You can evaluate the whole product before any money changes hands. The demo on our website opens a live workspace preloaded with a fictional company — no sign-up, no card. Where we issue a trial, it runs for the stated period with every feature unlocked. We would rather you decided during the trial than asked for a refund afterwards.

Cancelling

You may cancel at any time by writing to sreeharsha@astrocastech.in. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

Monthly plans stay active to the end of the month you have paid for, then stop. You are not billed again.
Annual plans stay active to the end of the paid year.

Refunds

Within 7 days of your first payment — full refund, no questions asked, provided you have not used your AI allowance beyond a nominal amount.
Annual plans, after 7 days — we refund the unused whole months, less any AI operations already consumed.
Monthly plans, after 7 days — the current month is not refunded, and you are not charged again.
If we cause it — a fault on our side that stops you working and that we cannot fix in reasonable time is refunded in full for the affected period, whether or not the windows above have passed.

What happens to your books

Cancelling never locks you out of your own data. Your workspace becomes read-only: every figure stays visible and every export — remarks Excel, Tally XML, financial statements — keeps working, so you can take your records with you. Ask us to delete the workspace and we will erase it within 30 days.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once approved, we process within 5–7 working days; your bank or card issuer may take a further few days to show it. We will confirm by email when it is sent.

Service delivery

AstroLedger is software delivered over the internet — there is nothing to ship. Access is activated on your workspace, and the access code is emailed to you, normally within one working day of payment being confirmed.

Disputes

Write to us first — almost everything is settled faster that way than through a chargeback. If we cannot agree, the governing law and jurisdiction are as set out in our Terms of Use.
