Things worth knowing first

I have no access code

Access codes are issued when a workspace is created. If your firm already has a workspace, whoever set it up has the code. Otherwise create one from the website, or write to us.

I want to try it without uploading real data

Open the app and tap Explore a demo on the sign-in screen. It builds a workspace containing a fictional company with a full year of invented transactions. No sign-up, and no real data of anyone's.

Something is classified wrong

Change it on the transaction, and use Apply to similar to teach the rule. Corrections are remembered per client, and take priority over the built-in rules from then on.

My balance sheet does not balance

AstroLedger will not silently plug the difference. It prints the gap and a checklist of what usually causes it — most often missing opening balances, which are entered per client under Settings. A statement built without them shows movement for the year rather than a real position, and the app says so.

The revenue figure looks wrong

If no accrual turnover has been entered, revenue falls back to what was banked, on a cash basis, and is labelled that way. Enter your filed GSTR-1 turnover in Settings to see it on an accrual basis.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Email us and we will erase your workspace and its uploads within 30 days. See the privacy policy.

Reporting a bug

Tell us what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. If it concerns a specific figure, the client name and the transaction date help a great deal. Please do not email bank statements — we will arrange a secure way to share anything we need.

Security

If you think you have found a vulnerability, write to us with the details before disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge within two working days.
